Introduction
Civil service examination is one of the toughest examination of state or country but it can be cracked with right strategy. BPSC is one of famous public service examination of Bihar. Which conducted almost every year in month of September.
Stages of Examination
There are three stages of this examination
- Prelims
- mains
- interview
prelims is of objective type which have 150 questions and carries 1 mark for each correct answer and 1/4 negative for each wrong answer. Time for this prelims examination is 2 hour.
Mains Examination
Mains examination have three papers
- General Study Paper I
- General Study Paper II
- Eassy
Each paper is of 3 hours. General paper I consist of history, statistics and international affairs. General paper II consist of economics, geography and polity section. Essay is mostly on current topic.
Easy way to qualify prelims
Prelims have some subject of high weight eg modern history is of approximately 30 marks, science 25 questions, current affairs is of approximately 30 questions and basic math & resioning is of 10 questions. This four subject consist of 95 marks So add only one more subject like geography or polity or economics then we can get more than 100 marks in prelims.
This strategy will definitely helpful for qualifying prelims examination of BPSC.
